Pastor Mike Hooper is the Senior Pastor at Grace. He is an excellent communicator who has the ability to bring God's unchanging truth to a diverse culture through compelling and creative teaching. Pastor Mike has a unique way of making scripture come alive while still keeping Biblical truths understandable for everyone. From Children's Ministry through Adult Ministries, Mike brings many years of ministry experience. Before Grace San Antonio, Mike was on staff as a Youth Pastor at one of the fastest growing churches in America and spent two years as a missionary in Zimbabwe, Africa. His interests and activities include traveling, kayaking and spending time with his beautiful wife Antoinette.
Pastor Antoinette Hooper is experienced in leading music and worship. She is committed to helping others experience the presence of God and develop a lifestyle of worship. Antoinette grew up in Zimbabwe Africa and she has been involved in hands on ministry for many years. She is a great worship leader, teacher, and counselor and she is great with women of all ages! She loves doing anything as long as it is with her husband Pastor Mike Hooper! You can catch them at the mall, walking by the lake, or even at the local water park! Family means everything, and friendship along with a relationship based on God is what holds them together.
Lee and Caron Wise oversee the Pastoral Care Ministries of the church. This includes prayer and personal needs, hospital visits and our connection teams. They have been married for 35 years, blended a family with 8 children. In their new season of retirement they enjoy travel, visiting their children, and the beach. The greatest gift God has given them, after salvation, is each other. Their life-defining verse is "Don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything. Tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank Him for His answers." Phil 4:6 They look forward to serving where God leads with their new Grace San Antonio family.
Jeremy Moczygemba heads up our Small Group Ministry. As we grow, it's Jeremy's commitment to help coordinate small groups to enable you to get involved with a group of people who study God's word and pour into each others lives. At Grace, we find it extremely important to do life together. Jeremy is also an avid boater who loves to spend his free time on the lake with his family.
Pastors Steve and Becky Riggle, Spiritual Overseers -Steve and Becky founded Grace Community Church, Houston in 1983 and it has grown to over 10,000 members. Steve is the president of Grace International – an international fellowship of over twelve hundred churches. (For more on Grace International, click here.) He has traveled nationally and internationally training pastors and ministry leaders. He also serves on the Board of Directors of King's College and Seminary founded by Jack Hayford. Steve has a Master's degree from Oral Roberts University and a doctorate from the King's Seminary. Steve and Becky have been spiritual parents to Pastors Cameron and Desi and they attribute their spiritual heritage and spiritual covering to them.
